On April 26, 2026, the American Legion Post 44 celebrated Guy Bertram by holding a charity event. The charity, a Luau, was able to raise enough money to give the First Tee of Canton over $7000. Guy Bertram was a volunteer for the First Tee. It is a charity that helps children learn how to golf while helping them to build character, values and healthy habits. Everyone seemed to enjoy the Luau and it was a successful event. There was a photo booth with crazy outfits to wear, baskets for raffle, a pig roast, lots of food, a hoola hoop contest and a best dressed contest.
