The Ohio Legion Newsletter has made a transition to being online only as the American Legion Department of Ohio has indicated below. We will be updating this page to provide links to the quarterly online version for you to read / print what you like.
This quarter marks the introductory edition of the Ohio Legion News being entirely online. The American Legion Department of Ohio leadership has andated this publication to no longer be printed and mailed to our active members in an effort to save costs, but rather be emailed to every active member that has a listed email. This publication will also continue to be posted on the Department website for anyone to access. These cost savings will in turn be added back into our Ohio Veteran and Youth Programs.
The benefits of receiving the online quarterly newsletter are as follows:
- Reduces impact on the environment by eliminating the need for paper
- You will get information in a more timely manner
- Allows you to share information with potential members much more easily
- Eliminates postage costs that can be used in support of other Department of Ohio American Legion Programs
